The Richmond Free Public Library Offers Adult Workshop, The New Art of Pastel Painting: The da Vinci Mode, With All Materials Included

The Richmond Free Public Library will host award winning artist Gregory John Maichack, Thursday, October 23, 2008, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm for the workshop, The New Art of Pastel Painting: The da Vinci Mode, a pastel painting workshop designed for both sheer beginners to advanced participants. Seats may fill quickly so please call (413) 698-3834 to pre-register for this adult class. Bring a photo/image of a landscape to work from. All supplies provided.

The Friends of the Richmond Library meet the third Thursday of the month at 6:45 pm. All are welcome.

Children can read with Owen, a Newfoundland, on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 or 6:30. Children must sign up to reserve a session.

Toddler storytime - On the first Thursday of the month at 10:30 am. Children sing songs, listen to a story, do a simple craft and enjoy a snack.
